Title: Post-Graduate Realities -- A Roundtable Discussion with Recent Grads

Curious about what life is like after graduation? Trust us, don't wait to find out! The Illinois Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ILaaom) is working to provide free or low cost opportunities for student members to interact with professionals in the field and plan for their future.

Whether you want to own a practice or work for other medical professionals, this is your chance to ask questions and get tips from a panel of recent graduates from the different acupuncture schools in Illinois. We will discuss many of the realities that we did not learn in school, including:

-avoiding costly mistakes when applying for your license
-how much does it really cost to start a business
-what are your options if you can't afford to pay your student loans
-lessons learned (aka -- on your own in the clinic)
and any other topics that you'd like to ask about.
